A public invitation to Amie Gamboian
Earlier this week, I wrote about the malicious lies being spread about Pink Truth and its members by Mary Kay sales director Amie Gamboian. I also emailed Amie personally with this note:
Dear Amie,
I am the owner of the Pink Truth. Today I am extending an invitation to you to retract your malicious lies about our site, and also to apologize to me and the site’s members. You can read my invitation here:
I look forward to your prompt response.
Despite emailing Amie twice with this message, I have not heard from her. In an effort to give her a chance to respond, I called her today and left a message that went something like this:
Hi Amie – This is Tracy Coenen. I’m the owner of Pink Truth, and earlier this week I emailed you twice about the malicious lies you’ve been spreading about my site and our members. I haven’t heard back from you, so I wanted to reach out via phone to give you a chance to rectify this situation.
Being the Christian woman that you say you are, I’m sure that you’ll want to retract the lies you’ve been telling, as well as offer a public apology for them. I really look forward to hearing from you so that we can resolve this situation.
I am again posting this public invitation to Amie Gamboian to do the right thing. Retract the lies you’ve told, and apologize for your malicious behavior. You owe it to every single member here. Remember, you haven’t told an ordinary lie, although that in and of itself would obviously be wrong. You’ve gone way over the top and told extremely malicious, hurtful, and damaging lies that have no basis in fact whatsoever. It’s time to step up and take responsibility for your actions and make things right.
Hey I was just wondering, Tracy, if you ever sold MK? Or if you started this site because of your legal expertise? Either way, thanks so much for this amazing site! It has really helped me recover after i quit, and I used your info to send my crap (er, inventory) back to the MKC. Thanks for helping me find more info that I can hopefully use to get my friend out one day, too 🙂
