Mary Kay Crazies
It’s always interesting to me when Mary Kay ladies refer to women on Pink Truth as “crazy.” Why are we crazy? For talking about the “other side” of Mary Kay Cosmetics? Incidentally, the other side is the truth that the MK ladies won’t tell you.
In a recent incident, somone passed a note to a Mary Kay consultant who was recruiting at Starbucks. The note mentioned that 99% of people lose money in MLM (this is a fact) and that she could get more information about MLM on Youtube, etc. Well this note was posted in the Director Tips Group on Facebook (a private group for MK sales directors only) and a lot of pearl-clutching ensued.
One kind sales director, Lynette Bickley, asked whether the writer of the note was “… with the ridiculous crazies – Pink Truth.”
Crazy, you say?
Sales director Lynette leads the Bickley Future Area in Mary Kay. That means she’s trying to become a national sales director. Trying. And trying. And trying. And trying.
Trying…. for more than THIRTY YEARS!!!!!
Now I don’t know about you, but I’ve always been told that the definition of CRAZY is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results. Lynette Bickley has been spinning her wheels as a “senior director” at Mary Kay for three decades, and she just keeps doing it. She hasn’t admitted to herself that she will never, ever become an nsd. That sounds like insanity to me.

So Monique Anthony is a good example now? We know that many MKBots see “TRUE REAL friendships” as transactional pay for play relationships.
As an atheist I don’t see any of these women displaying “REAL” Christian values let alone being a “ministry”.
Keep your prayers to yourself. There is a verse about that (Matthew 6:5 – “And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.”).
I was never in MK or any other MLM. From an outsider’s perspective, you people aren’t the crazy ones.
For the record I am not longer in touch with any of the people from the MLM I was in.
Heck I couldn’t even tell you anyone’s names that were in the unit if asked…

My mother had me tested, too. I’m not crazy. Slightly insane, maybe… depends on the day of the week and situation (see also nursing). The MLM huns, on the other hand, can be nuttier than squirrel poo.

There was only one “party” that I ever enjoyed, and even HOSTED ONE lol, that was PartyLite with candles. I believed in the quality and the prices so I did love that, but I had one party in me, held it, that was it lol. I am so grateful I escaped the many nets cast my way because there IS so much that the MLMs promote in the way of companions, events, blah blah blah, that a non-church person especially looks at curiously, wondering what belonging would be like. But that pesky sales stuff has always been a great Wall of NO.
I tried for 20 years to understand the MLM thing, just because I MUST KNOW THINGS and it wasn’t until I met the Crazy Pink Truthers that FINALLY I UNDERSTAND!!! It was not easy, either, very bewildering. I remember reading more than one story about a director being so relieved to be out of MK cause there are no more waking up in the middle of the night in a panic events, due to likely failed production goals, and that just baffled me. I had no idea what that meant since allegedly there are no quotas! And what the heck does ORDERING have to do with waking a person up in the night in a panic??? Not sales, I came to understand the distinction. Not making sales – that would wake one up for sure. Not making “ordering”?
I could go on but mainly, as always, I am so grateful to Tracy and the Crazy Pink Truthers of near 2 decades now who have led me to an understanding of things far beyond just the mechanics of MLM. This is gaslighting at it’s most grotesque, and as I discovered at age 55, the torments of my life have come from expert gaslighters whom I fully believed. That’s a huge revelation and believe me, Pink Truth helped me immensely in understanding such a CRAZY EFFING EVIL TOOL. Love you lunatics to the moon!!!!!!!!! xoxoxoxoxoxo
