Why does the Pink Truth go on and on with such negativity? If you don’t like Mary Kay that is your choice but your raging ragging is over the top!! Why not take all that negative energy and try to start your own business doing something else? Little, medium, big businesses succeed OR FAIL everyday in the US. That is called Capitalism and Freedom. Get over your failure as Mary Kay reps! Move on!! This is a sick sight! Sorry I stumbled on it but interesting to see how many like to blame someone else for their failures.

PTC, the burden is on you to provide a single example of an MK downline that is profitable as a whole. The fact that you can’t do this is one reason so many folks speak out against this “opportunity.” Warning people to avoid a scam is actually more constructive than it is negative.

I’m a professor. I think that suggests I know a thing or two. Mary Kay is like a casino. The odds are highly stacked against you regardless of how hard and smart you work. Any money-making scheme that is built on turning your customers into your competitors is a losing scheme.

No, every-one has taken responsibility for what happened to them. They have also acknowledged the harm they unwittingly did to others. The system MK uses is designed to get the maximum amount of money from their consultomers before they realise that failure is a feature not a bug.

The pink fog is thick around this one. What this person doesn’t get is that many on this sight WERE successful Mary Kay consultants, Red Jackets, Directors, car drivers, Queen of Sales and Recruiting. We just couldn’t continue to live the lie that going into debt to keep our units, getting others to place big orders regardless of actual retail sales, telling potential team members that Mary Kay is not a MLM was considered successful. I for one do not believe breaking away from the cult atmosphere and finally realizing everything you did for your business did nothing but make MK corporate billions of dollars is considered a failure. It’s rising above the pink fog.
You know you didn’t stumble. You are here for a reason.
Most of the people here are quite successful and out earn most MK reps. And that is not a tall order.

Let me point out that there are Communistic countries that have businesses. Also, I think you may need to reference a dictionary for the definition of “Freedom” Ironically, it’s the antithesis of a cult…
