Why are you doing this? Anytime I look for something for my business your blog comes up. I do understand that this did not work for you, but its not a blanket experience. It works for some and not for others.

The 4 minutes it takes me to type this isn’t really worth it, but its hard for me to understand where God plays a role in the time and energy you have put into making this website. Its filled with negative rants about how it didn’t work for you. But it does work for others, many others, enough others that it can be given a fair chance. It just seems like you are bitter because it didn’t work for you.

Its hard to believe Wal-Mart does not work for everyone (shoppers, employees, distributors) but it still stands as a multi-billion dollar company…., there are thousand of companies or jobs that just didn’t work for some people, but that does not make it bad for everyone. I truly believe that your analytical and writing skills can be channeled to really do something amazing….just not this. This is just way too negative and I have to find a way to block your site from my searches. I don’t know your name, but I will be praying that God heal your heart from whatever tore a hole in it. God bless.

Sure it does. Google ‘Mary ‘Kay’ and Pink Truth pops up (said with sarcasm).

It really isn’t. There’s no shortage of people in Internetland hating on Wal-Mart, Amazon and similar, and for very valid reasons. These range from their crappy treatment of employees, to the fact that their prices are too low and their selections too big to the point where smaller retailers can’t compete and go out of business.

However, in spite of their critics, they make boatloads of money because they sell goods that people want at prices they can afford.

MK has the opposite problems, but you don’t hear them anywhere except here because any negativity is squelched within the MK community. Elsewhere MKC uses its corporate muscle to hound critics into folding.

MK’s independent sales force are NOT employees, their selection is limited, and the prices too high. The company’s income comes from sales (aka “production”) to the independent sales force. They don’t track retail sales to end users, the products are overpriced and hard to move, and futhermore people don’t want to buy because they know they’ll be hounded to buy more or have a party or join up until forever ends.

However, in spite of their LACK of critics, according to the numbers one can actually track (recruitment numbers, Seminar attendance, the Canadian income disclosures) MK is suffering.

Next time you’ve got 4 minutes that don’t matter, think about why this site bothers you so much and think about what god is really trying to tell you (see yesterday’s post).

  3. “Anytime I look for something for my business, your blog comes up.”

One time, I could accept that, but I think you already knew and you keep coming back because it sounds a little too familiar.

It really only works for like ten people who made money on the backs of others. As to the rest, you only THINK it’s working for a lot of them. Is it working for you?

  4. Why are you doing this?

Because Tracy can and it’s needed.

Anytime I look for something for my business your blog comes up.

Do you understand how SEOs work?

I do understand that this did not work for you, but its not a blanket experience. It works for some and not for others.

According to Mary Kay corp, it doesn’t work for a great many people, in fact for over 99% of people it fails.

Really, you wasted valuable IPA time. You could have dialed for dollars or warm chatted some-one.

Have you thought that maybe God is using this site to protect His followers from falling into the snares of a devil who encourages (general) you to break a load of God’s Commandments and Jesus’s teachings?

Its filled with negative rants about how it didn’t work for you.

According to the figures I linked you to earlier, it doesn’t work for over 99% of participants. There are also screenshots from various Director Groups being BITTER over not getting sales, changing products and how to get their downlines recruits to buy the old product before they realise the new one is coming out and the ever popular insulting remarks we see from ladies like Ms. Bowman Cox.

But it does work for others, many others, enough others that it can be given a fair chance.

Points back to the 2023 Income Disclosure link.

It just seems like you are bitter because it didn’t work for you.

Bitter is my free square in PTC Bingo.

Its hard to believe Wal-Mart does not work for everyone (shoppers, employees, distributors) but it still stands as a multi-billion dollar company….,

You really don’t understand how capitalism works, especially late stage capitalism. Popinki explained it earlier.

there are thousand of companies or jobs that just didn’t work for some people, but that does not make it bad for everyone.

Again, points to the Income Disclosure.

I truly believe that your analytical and writing skills can be channeled to really do something amazing….just not this.

Truly damned by faint praise, Tracy and co,

This is just way too negative and I have to find a way to block your site from my searches.

I could tell you how to do this but I’ll let you do your own research. During your research, have a look at the Canadian Mary Kay Wagner Rogers Eckman Weaver Louis Miller Hallenbeck Ash website, it has the latest Income Disclosure,2023.

I don’t know your name, but I will be praying that God heal your heart from whatever tore a hole in it. God bless.

Our names are all over the site. I’m certain an omni-potent God isn’t fooled by our user-names.

  5. “…but its hard for me to understand where God plays a role in the time and energy you have put into making this website.”

Ma’am. I’m assuming you are a ma’am. May I call you ma’am? Okay. Ma’am, you are operating on the assumption that every person here is a practicing Christian. If someone is not, then you bringing up God has zero effect on the conversation. Whether or not someone believes in God has nothing to do with the simple fact that the data proves Mary Kay is not the glorious business opportunity it is presented as. Women are being deceived, manipulated, guilted, and outright lied to in order to grow the paychecks of the less than one percent of women who make it to the top ranks. Where is God in THAT. I would argue Pink Truth has the mission more closely aligned with God, exposing a company that recruits people through empty promises and withholding key information until they’ve already signed on the dotted line and ordered their inventory.

  6. If I’m hired at Walmart, I don’t have to spend any money in order to keep my job. Walmart doesn’t require that I purchase hundred’s of dollars every 3 months to get a discount. If I’m an employee, I get paid by Walmart, receive benefits such as medical insurance, nearly free college, matching 401k, other benefits, AND get a small discount.

Mary Kay doesn’t offer anything because YOU are the end customer, not an employee. You do not own your business either. You can’t sell it, put it in your will, market however you want, have a brick and mortar location to sell product, can’t sell on Amazon or eBay, etc.

In reality, all you are is a reseller of Mary Kay products.

  7. “[This site is] filled with negative rants about how it didn’t work for you. But it does work for others, many others, enough others that it can be given a fair chance.”

PTC, please answer me these questions:

    – Can you identify just one MLM downline that is profitable as a whole (MK or otherwise)?
    – Are you aware that you are supporting a business model which depends on the net financial losses of the participants (99.6% of them, according to research for the FTC)?
    – Why should anyone “give a fair chance” to a business incapable of producing a profitable downline in over 60 years, and which makes a financial loser of 249 folks, on average, for every one that turns a profit (as meager as that may be)?

The onus is on you to show how Mary Kay is not a ripoff for the overwhelming majority of participants. Testimonials from those doing the ripping off do not count, for obvious reasons.

  8. Offerings of prayers again. Something that many people say in the moment, but I wonder how many of those individuals will actually include us in their prayers later this evening?

  9. “Why are you doing this?”

To warn other women about how predatory and unethical Mary Kay is as a company.

“Anytime I look for something for my business your blog comes up.”

If you searched up “Mary Kay”, this blog is bound to pop up due to SEO. Duh.

“Because I do understand that this did not work for you, but its not a blanket experience.”

Because you probably have enough money that losing a few dollars to shill mid makeup products doesn’t matter to you.

“It works for some and not for others.”

Read my statement above. The reason it works for some is because they ALREADY have income to live off of.

“The 4 minutes it takes me to type this isn’t really worth it, but its hard for me to understand where God plays a role in the time and energy you have put into making this website.”

God doesn’t play a role in anything! It’s ironic you bring up God when you are trying to shut down people who are hurting more than you.

“Its filled with negative rants about how it didn’t work for you.”

If you actually read these stories, many women were scammed and their money preyed upon, but I guess that doesn’t matter for your so-called God fearing self. Ever heard of the Good Samaritan?

“But it does work for others, many others, enough others that it can be given a fair chance.”

Nope. Again, these others are rich already.

“It just seems like you are bitter because it didn’t work for you.”

THESE WOMEN WERE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. Maybe you should learn to support women, Tracy.

“Its hard to believe Wal-Mart does not work for everyone (shoppers, employees, distributors) but it still stands as a multi-billion dollar company…., there are thousand of companies or jobs that just didn’t work for some people, but that does not make it bad for everyone.”

Wal-Mart isn’t an MLM. It doesn’t have the best practices but MLMs are inherently more predatory.

“I truly believe that your analytical and writing skills can be channeled to really do something amazing….just not this.”

Maybe you should join a company that has ethical practices, then.

“This is just way too negative and I have to find a way to block your site from my searches.”

Maybe you should just ignore the site? It’s not our problem this site exists.

“I don’t know your name, but I will be praying that God heal your heart from whatever tore a hole in it.”

I won’t pray for you if you’re not going to support the women who got scammed by Mary Kay, idiot.

    “God bless.”

I hope the Devil visits you tonight!

  10. “Its hard to believe Wal-Mart does not work for everyone (shoppers, employees, distributors) but it still stands as a multi-billion dollar company….”

Just had to add that is a dumb comment… first of all, there is no shortage of Walmart critics anywhere you go, and it’s understandable, given their size as one of the world’s largest corporations, they are going to have people who have issues with them, however valid they might be. Not really hard to believe. Second, it’s also a dumb comment because you’re making an apples and oranges comparison. Walmart has employees who get paid an hourly wage (however low it might be), they don’t have independent salespeople. Totally different business model and it makes no sense to compare them.

One thing I can say without the slightest doubt – based on what little I’ve seen in the income disclosures and what I know about Walmart’s hourly wages, you could do a lot better working at Walmart than 99%+ of all Mary Kay independent sales “consultants”. That by itself speaks volumes about Mary Kay.

  11. What this person doesn’t understand is it DID work for some of us. All the scripts and lies worked and we sold product and recruited women. But then we realized just what we were doing, the scripts and lies- the Mary Kay way. It no longer felt right, we realized that maybe it was working for us but not so much for the women we were bringing in. We watched our recruits go into debt as we contributed to their brainwashing, then we ourselves went into debt to keep up with the scripts and lies-the Mary Kay way. We had to get off the pink merry-go-round and get back to reality. All we are doing here is trying to tell women the truth of what Mary Kay really is- scripts and lies- the Mary Kay way.

  12. Please carefully note: this is just not one person’s experience. There are numerous people saying the samething. Just prove you are making minimum wage for 3 months at MK. A ball park figure would be: Total Sales minus cost of goods (section 1 +2) plus all expenses (taxes, gas, all fees, etc.). Negative number equals you are going in the hole! Or put everything on one credit card and make payments only with sales. Any balance not paid in full means your going in the hole. Now take min wage times 40 hours – taxes times 4 weeks. Compare bank balance or credit card balance to min wage take home. We will wait….lol!
