Jamie Taylor’s Child Bothers Her

Written by Frosty Rose

Nothing says peace and balance like this face Mary Kay nsd Jamie Taylor made during a recent live video for her “winner’s circle” with her two-year-old in the forefront.

We’ve all been there, right? Trying to work with a little in the house is darn near impossible. And as my COVID-era memories flash across my Facebook page, I remember the feeling.

But, this is the problem Mary Kay is supposed to solve! You’re supposed to be able to balance your priorities–God first, family second, career third. Nothing about that priority list speaks to sitting your two-year-old outside, screaming in the background, while you try to suck more production out of your unit in the last week of the month.

Very few people can effectively work and provide childcare simultaneously. You just can’t be a great employee (or #girlboss) and mom at the exact same time. The supposed benefit of running your very own Mary Kay business is that you can make your own schedule and be 100% there for each aspect of your life, not be tied to a J.O.B. eight hours per day.

But what does this video show us? Jamie is stressed to the max. Her national area is melting away under her feet, and she has to work far more than eight-hour days to try to hold it together. She can’t take a few hours off when her poor kiddo is out of daycare. She has to be on those live videos. You need a snack? Well, too bad. Sit outside, cry while I finish this video, and then I’ll get to you when I get to you.

Peace and balance, indeed.

    • Especially when you need to tell everyone that Taylor Bero had over $3000 sales that week for her 100 Glass Skin Facials in a Day event! (Where 40 people cancelled)

  1. What a crappy mother. She can’t get up to get her toddler a snack but she can get up to put her in timeout on the stairs. ???

For what? So she can continue her business woman cosplay? That’s a sad video and hard to watch.

      • Didn’t any of her audience call her out over this? Having seen anti-MLM content creators show similar videos/livestreams and no-one says anything. It seems acceptable to these people to ignore your children despite their instance of being home for them.

        • They did NOT. In fact, Taylor Bero said she was taking notes because she was a fan of how Jamie was parenting!!!

  2. So glad this made the front page. NSDs are called “MK Royalty” (oh please) so you’d think they’d be bound by some kind of noblesse oblige, the obligation of the nobility to be kind and generous towards those less privileged.

Instead, she made a two-year-old sit outside, crying her head off, unsupervised so she could finish making a video putting the squeeze on her downline. The child’s crime: being two, an age not known for solid planning skills and forethought. The result will be that kiddo will realize the videos are more important to Mommy than she is, and she’s gonna resent the hell out of her for that.

This is on top of how she treats her downline, which as I’ve said before bought her position for her with their own debt and stress. She knew it and she drove them to it.

Huns, take a good look at your “royalty”. Is this really the kind of person you want to be when you grow up?

    • At the end, she says she has to get Wren. Says she is the most persistent person she’s ever met, and to her that means she’ll be great at Mary Kay. (If she wants to do it)

  3. One of the YouTube videos about Carless Casie’s “Missing Jacket Saga” had a beautiful moment when Careless Casie’s mask slipped as one of her children walked behind her.

I need to check it was either The Sam Dee or Julie Anderson.

  4. I have never met a 2-year-old who is able to rationalize anything, including time. Five minutes to a 2-year-old can be ten days since their brains have zero concept.

Jamie showed her true colors (again) when she put her 2-year-old in a “time out” versus comforting her. She let her daughter know that work was more important than her.

    • Yep, it seems like kids that age live in the Right Now. She didn’t want a snack Right Now five minutes ago, but she wants one Right Now, Now. Give her her snack and a kiss and finish your video in peace.

I can only imagine it was hella cringe for everyone watching having to listen to the poor kid scream the whole time. I know I couldn’t watch it all the way through with the sound on 🙁

      • EXACTLY. If Jamie had taken 2-3 minutes to give her 2 y/o a snack and sat her down with said snack and a toy next to her desk/table, she would have been able to continue to video with no issues. The MK huns would have swooned over Jamie and loved that she could be a mom AND work MK at the same time.

But noooooo…. you tried to rationalize with a 2 y/o who doesn’t understand.

  5. 2 year olds don’t understand “timeout”. I wonder how many times she has had to “lockout” that poor child. She’s showing her downline that Mary Kay comes before family and motherhood. Mommie Dearest should have never had kids unless she was willing to drop everything and tend to her family first.

  6. As a mandatory reporter for my J.O.B. (journey of the blessed), I have a hard time not considering this neglect. It’s one thing to teach moderation, sure, but a two year old may not fully understand everything. This is just gross.
