As a former attorney who left a very successful legal career to start a MK business over 10 years ago, I found your website to be pathetic. I can only assume you are a former consultant with a rotten attitude who had decided to profit from her bad attitude. Of course I also realize you could be a competitor using unethical marketing practices to demoralize and undermine the competition. The placement of your website in search engines makes it very clear that your mission is to seek out and exploit.

Mary Kay has positively changed the lives- including mine –  of thousands of women throughout the world.  How sad that you chose  to highlight the negative – the minority who had a bad experience or who have a rotten attitude. Your website only perpetuates their discontent, offers no positive options or guidance and worse still seeks to profit from the misery of others.

Of course MK isn’t perfect. No company is. But as someone who has been involved in starting many  companies, I can tell you this is truly the best entrepreneurial opportunity for women today.

You are clearly a creative entrepreneur. I hope you find a more positive way to use your entrepreneurial skills in the future to encourage and inspire women instead of profiting from their misery.

At the expense of millions of other women.

    • Never actually said she was a lawyer, though, “a very successful legal career” doesn’t always differentiate between being a high power lawyer or a secretary. Using weasel words to infer a higher status is a frequent MLM tactic I’ve noticed.

That doesn’t sound like a legal professional.

I can only assume you are a former consultant with a rotten attitude who had decided to profit from her bad attitude.

Or was actually successful until they realised the ethics of Mary Kay were very different than those espoused by the NSDs and SDs.

Of course I also realize you could be a competitor using unethical marketing practices to demoralize and undermine the competition.

Real beauty companies don’t care much about Mary Kay and other MLM companies. Other MLMs are too busy deciding when to go down the affiliate route.

The placement of your website in search engines makes it very clear that your mission is to seek out and exploit.

That’s on you, not us. When I google Mary Kay, I get over five pages of Mary Kay Corp related links before I get one for Pink Truth. And I have PT linked as a favourite!

Mary Kay has positively changed the lives- including mine – of thousands of women throughout the world.

Sadly, your success, if you actually have some, comes from the failure of 249 other people.

How sad that you chose to highlight the negative – the minority who had a bad experience or who have a rotten attitude.

249 out of 250 isn’t a minority and Mary Kay Wagner Rogers Eckman Weaver Louis Miller Hallenbeck Ash’s own Income Disclosure for 2023 backs us up.

Your website only perpetuates their discontent, offers no positive options or guidance and worse still seeks to profit from the misery of others.

On the contrary, we give instructions on how to return products in order to get as much money refunded as possible, we support people trying to leave. However , we do not offer false hopes that everything will be alright once you leave since many of us know that resentment from those still in the Pink Fog will cloud their judgements towards anyone leaving.

Of course MK isn’t perfect. No company is.

Which is why most companies have sites like this warning of the down-sides of working there. You seem to think that this is the only one.

But as someone who has been involved in starting many companies,

Are these companies as successful as your vague legal career? Or are you an MLM-hopper? Or did you just type the legal documents for your superior to proof-read and send out to their client?

I can tell you this is truly the best entrepreneurial opportunity for women today.

I’ve provided figures to prove you wrong.

    Damned by faint praise, Tracy!

I hope you find a more positive way to use your entrepreneurial skills in the future to encourage and inspire women instead of profiting from their misery.

And yet, you will find women coming here to thank Tracy and co for their guidance and encouragement to break free from the clutches of Mary Kay’s greed.

    Disbarred, were you?

“Of course I also realize you could be a competitor using unethical marketing practices to demoralize and undermine the competition.”

THAT’S IT! THAT’S IT EXACTLY!! IT’S ALL A DEEPFAKE PLOY BY BELLAME TO UNDERCUT MARY KAY!!!!!!! Sweet Lou Pinella, with logic like that no wonder you’re a FORMER attorney.

“Of course MK isn’t perfect. No company is. But as someone who has been involved in starting many companies…”

So, did your clients ever plead guilty once they realized you’d be representing them?

  4. I call MK BS on this one. If this writer is a former practicing attorney, she did not pass wordsmithing 101.

She assumes that search engine placement is paid for by PT. What was she searching for on the World Wide Web that brought her to PT? She acknowledges misery in the ranks. She acknowledges discontent. She actually clearly supports PT’s mission. Just maybe she will take a deeper dive in the site and see herself in the commentary here and do some self reflection.

  5. “decided to profit from her bad attitude”

You obviously have no idea how little $ comes from running a social media website in todays world. I am more than positive this website costs Tracy more $ than it makes.

Also for the record this is the only website I have been following for years that hadn’t moved to begging the community to join a patreon or has a pay wall in order to see any information. And I for one appreciate this so much.

  6. Oh shame on us for giving up successful Mary Kay businesses because we could no longer tolerate the unethical business practices that this company turns a blind eye to.

  7. So how much of your time did you spend looking at this “pathetic” website? Also, how much net income are you making with Mary Kay now? You are anonymous here, you can tell us. Not likely to happen though.

    • “Also, how much net income are you making with Mary Kay now?”—

Can we rephrase when asking this question? Examples:

How much have you netted from scamming your friends, family, and others?

How much have you made from your involvement in a product-based pyramid scheme?

  8. “The placement of your website in search engines makes it very clear that your mission is to seek out and exploit.” The search engine placement is the result of YEARS of steady content production on a tightly focused topic with a clean website design. That’s all it takes.

Exploit who, and for what? Is Tracy getting rich off this site? No, it actually costs her money and time. Does she get a bounty for every Mary Kay IBC who quits? No. The seekers and exploiters are the MLMers who pretend their “opportunity” is profitable.

What’s pathetic is that the whole pink pyramid was founded on lies and half-truths. Mary Kay Ash said, “A woman who will tell her age will tell anything.” She never told her age. She also never mentioned other details that might have interfered with her carefully crafted public image as the plucky divorced single mother of three from the wrong side of the tracks who founded a cosmetics company to give women like her a chance. Somewhere, somehow, she managed to lose track of several of her five (or seven) husbands. Mary Kay Ash had seven husbands? Yes, it appears that Mary Kay Ash had seven of them, not the three that are usually acknowledged in her various biographies.

  9. If you truly had a successful career in Mary Kay, and you could show this to others, why would you care what this site had to say??? Couldn’t you rebut any post here with real life, concrete examples? If you are selling well, can’t you train someone else to do what you do and get the same results???

Attorney, go put on your pins upside down and ask someone at the grocery store if you can borrow their face.

  10. Probably the most famous attorney-director in MK is PJ Baunach, who retired in the last year or two from the DOJ. She’s been at the top of the court of sales since 1996 or so — always in the top 20, and for YEARS, she was #2 or #3. Granted, she loved her work at the DOJ, yet if MK was so incredibly profitable, why did she stay? Maybe it was because it was a great paycheck with amazing benefits, both of which MK cannot easily offer. Plus, she likely has an incredible pension after working for the gubmint for 30-some-odd years.
