Another Pink Truth “Mission Accomplished”
An email from a new reader:
Today I spent my lunch hour at the local mall where a young woman approached me on my way out to tell me that “I look just like the type of girl Mary Kay likes to recruit.” She was full of compliments that sounded familiar — nearly identical to those given by another woman who stopped me in a store down the street several days earlier.
I found both women’s persistence extremely odd, so I googled “Mary Kay and SCAM” and found your website. Next time I am invited to lunch by a Mary Kay consultant who wants to teach someone who already has a job how to be financially empowered (probably next time I step foot in the nearest mall) I will be sure to pass along your website address and my sympathies that they’ve ended up in a glorified pyramid scheme. Thanks for keeping this site up!
