Seminar Attendance 2022
I kept track of Mary Kay’s seminar attendance for years. The last time there was an in-person seminar at the Dallas Convention Center was 2019. They had 20,000 consultants and directors there, which was the lowest in decades.
This year makes me even happier. Mary Kay Inc. reports to The Dallas Morning News that there will be 14,000 attendees at this year’s seminar.
Here’s how the numbers shook out in years prior:
2019: 20,000
2018: “nearly” 30,000
2017: “nearly” 30,000
2016: “nearly” 30,000
2015: 27,000
2014: 30,000
2013: 50,000 (allegedly, but I believe the figure was inflated substantially)
2012: 32,000
2011: 30,000
2010: More than 30,000
2009: 35,000
2008: 35,000
2007: 40,000
2006: 42,000
2005: 45,000
2003: 53,000
2001: 43,000
Lol love it!!!
I guess during the years while seminar was virtual, people realized that the world didn’t end if they didn’t truck on down to Dallas. I hope they’re finally realizing that not disturbing your family life and going broke just to go to seminar is a good thing.
I like the trend!
Isn’t there also a virtual option this year? Another reason not to attend in person.
Yes, there is a virtual option this year.
At what point does MK say it will cost too much to split them into 4 events and not into 1 big one?
Phew!
I always enjoyed seminar. I loved the Director stories and enjoyed meeting women from thru the Country.
