I’d like to put a blood pressure cuff on this critic, and likewise a PT contributor, and see how their respective blood pressure changes when the following words/phrases are spoken:
– Month end
– Production shortfall
– More faces
– Seminar hotel accommodations
– Dallas heat
– DIQ
– No shows
– Charge back
– Stale consultants
– Credit card bill
My money is on the Pink Truth contributor being at peace when hearing these terms, while the Pink Truth Critic has a measurable reaction.
Who’s really the happy one here?
Month end causes me a tiny bit of stress, because I have to provide three sets of monthly reports for three different entities with different requirements, but it takes like an hour and I don’t have to think about it for a month. April and September are my busiest months so I see a lot of faces, but only briefly. Last September I wrote out a check for over $4 million and it didn’t even cause a flutter because it ain’t MY money 😀
I’ll be completely transparent here. I’ve been happily out of MK for nearly 5 years. Those things still cause a reflexive blood pressure spike lol. However, I am MUCH happier since those stressors are only muscle memory, not my day-to-day life.
What is she even doing here? Another stumbler onto the site? She obviously doesn’t get it. We ARE happy because we are no longer in Mary Kay!

Ain’t no whining going on here, and most of us are happy with our hobbies and careers, especially since they don’t involve Mary Kay. The purpose of this website isn’t to whine, one of the major reasons it exists is to warn others who might be considering Mary Kay and prevent them from making the same mistakes so many others have made.
You think this site is “hilarious” and you laugh at it, but you took the time to read it and send your negative comments to the site owner. If it is all so stupid to you, why waste your time with this website and focus on your Mary Kay “business”? There’s a lot of money to be made with it, isn’t there?
I’m plenty happy and at peace and financially stable. And I still have energy left over to call out Mary Kay for their unethical practices. 😁
