Get Over It
You would think the Mary Kay lovers could come up with new talking points? No. I guess I should have tried harder!
Seriously. You women who have felt this way maybe Mary Kay wasn’t for you. But you can’t speak for everyone. The products are awesome and they are backed up with guarentees…
And to those of you that dedicate your lives to the ‘pink truth’… you obviously have no life. Get over it. You may be telling the truth and hitting the facts, but for those of you that it didn’t work you either didn’t try hard enough or you didn’t listen to what had worked for other women in he past 50 something years.. its not for everyone!!! But don’t put others down because you didn’t make your goals… the products sell themselves. You don’t have to be a director to make money!!!!! But if you choose to that’s up to you.
You sweet summer child… if I had to guess, you are a newbie who doesn’t know or understand how the MLM-MK cult works just yet. The products don’t “sell themselves.” Look at all of the sales and begging on social media, and you can see that the products don’t sell themselves. The only way to make a so-called executive income (or any true income) is to have a downline who consistently loses money.
For the record, I *do* have a life. In fact, I have a pretty darn good one. I make a very nice income (more than double, and in most cases triple, what the typical director makes). My spouse and I are happy and continue to plan our future, including retirement. I am blessed to have a beautiful home, friends and neighbors, and old lady dogs. I’ve worked hard enough that some of my academic work is getting published and I’ve spoken at recent nursing conferences about my work. So yeah… I think I have a pretty darn good life outside of the MK cult world.
“… the products sell themselves. You don’t have to be a director to make money!!!!!”
PTC, you are you going to have to provide more than baseless assertions to counter our facts. Better yet, why not identify just one MK downline which is profitable as whole? Pick any MK director of your choosing…NSD or lowest level recruiter…does not matter. From there on down the aggregate money coming in “from” theirs and their downlines’ Mary Kay businesses must exceed the aggregate spent “on” theirs and their downlines’ Mary Kay businesses.
The “fact” that you can’t identify a single profitable downline in Mary Kay reveals how money is actually made in Mary Kay: from aggregate losses in the downlines. We’ll wait here for you to provide this unicorn director. Please write back in with her name once you’ve found her.
Seriously. You women who have felt this way maybe Mary Kay wasn’t for you.
If Mary Kay isn’t for everyone, why do her IBCs continue to push the idea that anyone can be a Caddy driver?
But you can’t speak for everyone.
However Ms. PTC is going to do just that.
The products are awesome and they are backed up with guarentees (sic)…
One is a matter of opinion, the other is a common business practice.
And to those of you that dedicate your lives to the ‘pink truth’… you obviously have no life.
Wow! The platitudes are are hard hitting this week, Not! 🤣
Get over it.
Could you be a little more condescending please?
You may be telling the truth and hitting the facts,
Yes, people’s stories do tend to be the truth. Screenshots of directors bad-mouthing their down-lines are the truth. Here’s a little fact that Mary Kay Wagner Rogers Eckman Weaver Louis Miller Hallenbeck Ash’s company likes to keep hidden from her American IBCs.

but for those of you that it didn’t work you either didn’t try hard enough or you didn’t listen to what had worked for other women in he (sic) past 50 something years.. its not for everyone!!!
Then, pray tell why Mary Kay Wagner Rogers Eckman Weaver Louis Miller Hallenbeck Ash’s scripts are designed to entrap any-one with a face? You are making a huge assumption about how other women worked their “own small businesses” even though those women’s stories are here. They explain their triumphs and tragedies.
But NO!! It wasn’t “the system” that failed them even though Mary Kay Corp’s own figures shows that the system doesn’t work for everyone.
But don’t put others down because you didn’t make your goals…
We are not putting people down here, unlike you, Ms. PTC. When we talk about named directors or IBCs, it’s because of what they willingly put out on social media.
We see Careless Casie berating Marriot Hotels for the fact she didn’t notice her jacket was missing for over a month.
We see directors call their down-line “heffers”.
We see Priceless Chels have her over the top stagette where she and Jamie were begging for their downlines to send money so they could go on a bender of expensive cocktails.
the products sell themselves.
The pictures of director’s houses say differently. Sometimes they are nicely arranged, other times it looks like a pile of pink exploded.
You don’t have to be a director to make money!!!!!

Not even directors are making money according to Mary Kay Corp. While I suppose it is possible to earn money simply by sales to external customers, MKC doesn’t track those. However some-one ordering in the region of $10k in retail sales prices per month would be some-one tracked and be lauded and making speeches about how easy it is to replicate. She(or he) would be an inspiration to all and sundry.
But if you choose to that’s up to you.
And how about you prove that you are making Executive Wages on Part-Time Work??Show us that we are wrong!
Ah, the shrill sounds of blaming the victim, on a Friday morning: “either didn’t try hard enough or you didn’t listen to what had worked for other women in he past 50 something years”
*60 something years… and it’s only worked for a fraction of a percent of those women.
