Questions, Questions, Questions about Mary Kay
Written by DebiUnpinked
Who honestly profits from the sales of Mary Kay products?
Why is it that one purchasing the highest dollar amount in products from the company is called “The Queen of Sales”?
Where are the billions per year that Mary Kay Corporate makes from their consultants going?
Why do we only know the amounts of products purchased or proceeds donated, why not ALL the numbers about the products?
If Mary Kay is making billions per year would it make sense that more than one or two NSDs would be making much more than a million or two a piece?
What is the motivation of Mary Kay Corporate or the upline to see that consultants sell the product they have already purchased?
Why is there recruiting? If the products are so great and undervalued as to make a 50% profit, why would anyone want to recruit when the product sold so well?
When will the “Keepers of the Dream” awake and tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth about this “DREAM” everyone is striving for?
How come there are so many limitations, hoops and hurdles, time constraints placed on those trying to reach the next career level? Most of all WHY are there time constraints? Is this to make it MORE difficult to obtain the next level? If so, why?
Why are people who choose to quit Mary Kay called and begged not to or ridiculed for their decision to quit?
How is Mary Kay enriching women’s lives…exactly? By providing a product that is needed/wanted? By recruiting customers, who recruit customers, who recruit customers so that Mary Kay CORPORATE always has customers but YOU the consultant don’t? How does that work?
Why doesn’t Mary Kay Corporate speak to all our questions in a truthful manner?
Feel free to add your own questions to this list!
OK, I would like to know why there are so many silly rules that are so often broken by the MK upline? Why can’t an independent business woman advertise how she would like? Why not be able to sell at craft shows the MK baskets or what not that you make and assemble yourself? Why not allow units to have their own dress code or not? Why or why not allow the sales force to consider themselves as truly independent and do whatever is legal? So many rules, restrictions, and boundaries that make no sense at all. Why?
Why can’t an independent business woman advertise how she would like?
Because it would become obvious that the town of 1,000 people to the west of me has FOUR reps. And there are about 12 in my town and the closer tiny places.
Why not be able to sell at craft shows the MK baskets or what not that you make and assemble yourself?
Because the local craft show would have those four reps plus the 12 or more reps in my town of about 8,000 all sitting there trying to sell the same stuff.

It would make it too obvious just how many reps there are, and that the meaketplace is overloaded with them.
Yup! Such a scamy business! The rules are to protect the lies and myths that the company continues to perpetrate on innocent women. Why smart women would allow themselves to get sucked into the pink lie, is beyond me. Except I got sucked in and I’m educated and smart. We believed the lies and therein is the answer to the mystery.
