Another Shannon Andrews Recruiting Script

Here’s a recruiting script by Mary Kay national sales director Shannon Andrews. She’s encouraging a whole lot of misrepresentations with this one!

I absolutely love what I do and would love to tell you more about it!

I am an entrepreneur and run my own business, which is Mary Kay.Right now, my main focus is to coach and train others to start and run their own businesses. In general, we are tripling in size over the next 3 years, which means that we are looking for sharp, professional women that would consider the leadership side of our business which involves training people and helping them launch and market their businesses. Many people have preconceived ideas about Mary Kay, but I can assure you that we have professional women such as accountants, engineers, attorneys, etc. We are looking for women who want to own their own business, office from home, and would like to make a potential six-figure income and still have time for a fulfilling personal life…isn’t it about time! We have more women earning $50,000-100,000 and more per year than any other company in the U.S.

The flexibility of our company makes this ideal for those women who would like to be their own boss and work from home, yet still want/need an executive income, incredible tax deductions, and balance in their lives. We also have part-time and very part-time (for those who are not interested in leaving their current job or are just wanting to have a plan “B”) opportunities available where you can potentially earn $50-$100 an hour and be able to benefit from the tax deductions which may save you literally $1,000’s.

I thought I would take a chance and see if you would at least be interested in keeping an open mind and just hear the facts about this awesome business…I realize this may or may not be for you, but I would love to meet with you briefly maybe over coffee or invite you to our Career breakfast and provide you with more detailed info about what I do. Besides, with the scary economy it’s always good to keep your options open! You may not want to do something like this forever, but it may be a great way to make some money until the perfect job comes along. If it’s okay, I’ll try calling you to see which is more convenient.

Wow! Shannon really covered it all… False earnings claims, scare tactics, boasting about the (not always legal) tax deductions, the lie of the executive income, and more….

  1. Yes, Mary Kay is a great tax deduction. Translation, you will spend more money on business expenses than you take in.
