Beautycounter insanity
#1
A friend of mine, who I used to really trust in terms of spiritual advice and guidance, has gone FULL ON MLM and is now doing a recruiting talk with her upline on IG about how God can bless your family with income via you doing work you never thought you'd do; ie, by joining an MLM. Specifically, this one.

These women began as spiritual mentors and have now become this sort of MLM shilling, God-as-wish-giver that of course can only happen if you join their MLM and it makes me absolutely sick.

Yes, it all sounds so innocent and doable.  Until your friend eventually figures out she is SPENDING more than she’s making.

Did she read the Beautycounter Income Disclosure Statement?

———————————————-
For the full year 2022, earnings for US Brand Advocates:

-  The average total annual income for all Brand Advocates was $1,878.
-  24% (13,210) of Brand Advocates had no sales and therefore earned no Commissions
-  37% (20,770) of Brand Advocates earned more than $500
-  22% (12,361) of Brand Advocates earned more than $1,000
-  1% (530) of Brand Advocates earned more than $30,000. The median earnings of the top 1% of Brand Advocates was $53,125 (Average was $86,990).

These earnings are BEFORE expenses.

Flip the percentages:

-  37% (20,770) of Brand Advocates earned more than $500
That means 63% earned LESS than $500

-  22% (12,361) of Brand Advocates earned more than $1,000
That means 78% earned LESS than $1,000
